Welcome to Hers of Hampshire. Thank you for visiting my website and supporting my small, independent candle business.

These Terms of Service explain the conditions that apply when you browse or purchase products from www.hersofhampshire.com.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

1. About Hers of Hampshire

Hers of Hampshire is an independent UK business operated by a sole trader, specialising in hand-poured scented candles and wax melts.

2. Products

Every Hers of Hampshire candle and wax melt is thoughtfully hand-poured in small batches.

I aim to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and fragrance information are as accurate as possible.

As each product is handmade, minor variations in appearance may occur. These do not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty or not as described.

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.

All products are subject to availability.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Hers of Hampshire is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not separately charged.

Delivery charges are displayed during checkout before you confirm your purchase.

Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

I reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or product information errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, I will contact you to explain the issue and offer the option to proceed at the corrected price or receive a refund.

4. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email.

An order confirmation acknowledges that your order has been received. I will contact you if an item is unavailable or if I am unable to fulfil your order.

If an order cannot be fulfilled, any payment received for the affected items will be refunded.

5. Dispatch and Delivery

Hers of Hampshire currently delivers within the United Kingdom only.

Orders are normally prepared and dispatched within 2–3 working days.

Standard delivery costs £4.99, with complimentary standard delivery on orders of £50 or more, after applicable discounts.

Delivery is normally estimated at 3–5 working days after dispatch.

Delivery times are estimates. If there is an unexpected delay, I will contact you where appropriate.

6. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

For most online purchases, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

After notifying me of your decision to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the products.

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return postage, as explained in the Returns & Refunds Policy.

I kindly ask that products are returned in their original condition, together with their packaging and protective materials where possible.

Candles should not be lit and wax melts should not be used if you intend to return them because you have changed your mind. Handling beyond what is necessary to inspect a product may result in a lawful deduction if its value has been reduced.

These provisions do not limit your statutory rights concerning faulty, damaged or incorrectly described goods.

7. Product Safety and Responsible Use

Candles and wax melts must be used responsibly and in accordance with the safety instructions supplied with each product.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep burning candles, wax burners and hot wax away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials.

Always place candles and burners on a suitable, stable, heat-resistant surface.

Follow all product-specific safety guidance, including instructions concerning burn times, wick trimming and suitable wax burners.

Please discontinue use if a product appears unsafe or damaged, and contact me if you have concerns.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.

8. Website Information

I make reasonable efforts to keep the information on the Hers of Hampshire website accurate and up to date.

Occasionally, information may contain errors or require updating.

Website content, including photographs, descriptions and branding, must not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission, except where permitted by law.

9. Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information provided when placing an order is handled in accordance with the Hers of Hampshire Privacy Policy.

Your information is used as necessary to process orders, communicate with you and provide customer service.

Marketing communications are sent in accordance with applicable data protection and electronic marketing requirements.
